- 19 people are signed up for the Level One "Operation Solid Lives" Discipleship Intensive classes, which meet at the church on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.- OSL Courses take place at LWC on Sunday afternoons, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Level One will be offered January 29th through February 26th, 2012. The deadline to sign up and pay the $50 class fee is Sunday, January 8th, 2012. Level Two will be offered April 15th through May 27th, 2012, with a Sunday, March 25th deadline to sign up and pay the $50 class fee.

The Lord Jesus Christ commissioned His disciples to, "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)

His disciples took the first steps of obedience & it was soon said of the early Church,"And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:47)

Living Way Church, was established in 1997 in New Buffalo, Michigan by Pastors Vic and Gail Prietto and a "handful" of people with a dream. Our heartbeat has always been evangelism and discipleship: reaching the lost with the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ, introducing them to Him as Savior and Lord, and discipling every believer--new and old--so that they become fully-devoted, "sold out" followers of Him!

R.E.A.L. COVENANT

We at Living Way Foursquare Church, in Michigan City, Indiana, do join together in the fellowship of the Gospel and commit to doing R.E.A.L. life together. We covenant together, God helping us, and promise that: \ We will love one another, pray for one another, and seek to help one another grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (John 13:34; Colossians 4:2; 2 Peter 3:18) We will make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. What We Believe

What the Foursquare Gospel Church BelievesThe Holy ScripturesWe believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God: true, immutable, steadfast, and unchangeable (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). The Eternal Godhead We believe that God is triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the Three are coexistent, coeternal, and equal in divine perfection (1 John 5:7). The Fall of Man We believe that man, created in the image of God, by voluntary disobedience fell into the depths of sin and iniquity, bequeathing sin’s nature and consequences to all mankind, with their accompanying loss of intended meaning and purpose (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12). The Plan of Redemption We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, took our place, and with His life’s blood purchased the pardon for all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Titus 2:14). Salvation Through Grace We believe that salvation is wholly through grace; that no human righteousness or merit can contribute to our receiving God’s love and favor (Ephesians 2:8). Repentance and Acceptance We believe that, upon sincere repentance and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God through Jesus’ sacrificial death (Romans 10:6-10; 1 John 1:9).The New Birth We believe that the change that takes place in people at conversion is a very real one; that having received righteousness in Christ and having received of His Spirit, people will have new desires, interests, and pursuits in life (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20). Daily Christian Life We believe that it is the will of God that those who have been born again grow in sanctification, become partakers of His holiness, and daily grow stronger in the faith, power, prayer, love, and service (2 Corinthians 7:1). Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper We believe that being baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an essential response to Jesus’ command, testifying to His lordship as Christ and King (Romans 6:4). We believe in observing the Lord’s Supper, receiving the broken bread and the fruit of the vine with joy and faith as we partake anew of the life and triumph of Christ’s Cross (1 Corinthians 11:24-26) Baptism in the Holy Spirit We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers believers to exalt Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to be witnesses of God’s saving grace; we expect the Spirit’s incoming to be after the same manner as that in which He came upon believers in the days of the Early Church (Acts 1: 5, 8; 2:4). The Spirit-Filled Life We believe that it is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit moment by moment, serving the Lord and living lives of patience, love, truth, sincerity, and prayer (Ephesians 4:30-32; Galatians 5:16, 25). The Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows enabling ministry gifts upon believers, and that these gifts will build up the Body of Christ through edification and evangelism(1 Corinthians 12:1-11); as evidence of a Spirit-filled life, believers should show spiritual “fruit”: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22-25). Moderation We believe a Christians’ moderation should be obvious to others and that relationship with Jesus should never lead people into extremes of fanaticism; their lives should model that of Christ in uprightness, balance, humility, and self-sacrifice (Colossians 3:12, 13; Philippians 4:5). Divine Healing We believe that divine healing is the power of Jesus Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith; He, who does not change, is still willing and able to heal the body, as well as the soul and spirit in answer to faith (Mark 16: 17, 18; James 5:14-16). The Second Coming of Christ We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent; the certainty of His coming and the fact that no man knows the hour of His coming prompt our evangelistic efforts; that the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, the dead in Christ shall rise, and the redeemed will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (Matthew 24:36, 42, 44; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17). Church Relationship We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers with whom we can worship God, observe the ordinances of Christ, exhort and support one another, labor for the salvation of others, and work together to advance the Lord’s Kingdom (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24). Civil Government We believe that civil government is by divine appointment and that civil laws should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God (Acts 4: 18-20; Romans 13:1-5). Judgment We believe that all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ: the redeemed to be delivered unto everlasting life, and the unrepentant unto everlasting punishment (Revelation 20:11, 12; 2 Corinthians 5:10). Heaven We believe that heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers (John 14:2; Revelation 7:15-17). Hell We believe that hell is a place of darkness, deepest sorrow, and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels; yet it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior (Matthew 13: 41, 42; Revelation 20:10, 15). EvangelismWe believe that soul winning is the “one big business” of the Church on earth, and that every hindrance to worldwide evangelism should be removed (James 5:20; Mark 16:15). History

In 1997, Victor and his wife, Gail, founded Living Way Foursquare Church in New Buffalo, Michigan. In September of 2001, Living Way went from being a pioneering work to becoming a fully chartered church of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. Through Pastor Vic’s fruitful ministry of leadership development and discipleship, a church plant that begun with just 10 individuals is now a dynamic local body of approximately 170 members and adherents. From its beginning, the church has offered a powerful, contemporary worship experience and a bold proclamation of God’s Word. + In May of 2011, Living Way purchased a building and 3.5 acres of property at 2410 Duneland Beach Drive, in Michigan City, Indiana, to become their new church home. Situated just 6.5 miles from the original location, the first worship service in the new facility took place on Sunday, July 31, 2011.

Senior Pastors Vic & Gail Prietto

Vic Prietto Before becoming a pastor, Victor C. Prietto was a sought-after street evangelist. His mission work took him to Hungary and Romania, where he led thousands to Christ and witnessed many miraculous moves of the Holy Spirit. In 1997, Victor and his wife, Gail, founded Living Way Foursquare Church in New Buffalo, Michigan. Through Pastor Vic and Gail's fruitful ministry of leadership development and discipleship, a church plant that begun with just 10 individuals is now a dynamic body of approximately 180 members. In May of 2011, the church acquired property and a building just 6.5 miles from the original location, at 2410 Duneland Beach Drive, in Michigan City, Indiana. Following remodeling, the congregation moved there in August of 2011. Pastor Vic's Foursquare credentials include receiving his District License in 1996, International License in 2002 and Ordination in 2004. In addition to pastoring the local church, Pastor Vic has served as a Divisional Superintendent overseeing the Foursquare churches in Southwest Michigan since October 2000. He is also a trained and equipped coach, helping to develop, encourage and mentor church planters.
Gail Prietto Upon rededicating her life to the Lord in 1992, Gail immediately answered what she sensed was the call of God, through His Word in Isaiah, chapter 6. " Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here I am; send me." Soon after, she met the love of her life, her husband Vic. They were married in 1993. The Lord impressed upon their hearts that they would be serving in ministry together. In 1996 they planted what is now the Living Way Foursquare Church in Michigan City , IN. Beginning in 1997, Pastor Gail inaugurated various ministries in the church, including the Children?s Christian Education Ministry. This and the other ministries which she established have matured and continue to flourish under the direction of the present leadership. In 2006, Pastor Gail determined to acquire her ministerial license with the Foursquare denomination. This progress has proven to be both a blessing and a great incentive. Presently, her ambition is to make the most of every opportunity to operate in her unique gifting: to faithfully impart the Lord's wisdom, and to speak forth His life-changing Word, which, empowered by His Spirit, He has promised will not return void, but holds infinite Potential and Power to fulfill the needs of this generation.

Administrative Pastor Jim King

Pastor Jim King has known Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord since July 1974. He came to Living Way Foursquare Church in March 2001. He was appointed full-time administrative pastor in August 2003 and holds a Foursquare District Ministerial License. He is chief administrative assistant to Pastor Vic and is involved with the financial operations of the church. Pastor Jim is passionately committed to the proclaiming of God's Word and to serving the Lord and His people in the local church.

Worship & Creative Arts Pastors Jeremy & Christa Gallo

Jeremy Gallo Jeremy's first encounter with the Lord was at age 14, at a youth convention, where he was saved. He has never been the same. At age 16, he had another amazing encounter with the Lord during the outpouring at the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida. He experienced an awesome, open-heaven encounter with the Holy Spirit, along with a deeper understanding of what freedom, true worship, and repentance means. That year he knew he had a calling to lead worship for a living. He began leading worship at age 16 and has never stopped. He met his wife-to-be, Christa, at age 17 and they got married on March 3, 2001.
Christa Gallo Christa grew up in the church, encountering the Lord at around six years old and being filled. She has experienced several healings, including the healing of her legs, where formerly she had to wear braces. Some of her gifts inlcude prophecy, intercession, healing, and worship. They have two beautiful young children Helena and Jamison.

Pastor Suzie Fitts has been a youth leader and mentor with Living Way Church for many years. With her love for the Lord and His Word, and for kids and their parents, she has a special anointing to fulfill the mission of Serving Parents & Reaching Kids. With a shepherd's heart, Suzie is sincerely grateful to be serving you. Suzie received her Foursquare staff ministerial license in June 2009. She lives in Michigan City, Indiana, with her husband, JayDee, and daughters Shannon and Courtney.

Pastor Callie Rose Campbell is a 2007 graduate of The King's College and Seminary, located in Van Nuys, CA. Upon graduating with honors from The King's, Callie received a Bachelor's Degree in Theological Studies, with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling. Callie lives in St. Joseph, Michigan with her husband, Steve, and son, Christian. Callie loves the Lord and His Church and is passionate about fulfilling Jesus Commission to make disciples.

Ministry Operations Leaders Jeff & Patty Campbell

Jeff and Patty Campbell have been a part of LWC since 1998 when they were first invited. It was during this time that the Lord started pulling on their hearts to devote their lives in unison to take part in something special that would change them forever. They have since been plugged into a ministry and calling that brings joy to their lives. Both are known to always serve when needed and have never thought twice when God calls them into a serving ministry. Over the years they have served as helping hands with food pantrys in the local community, collected Thanksgiving baskets to distribute to those in need, helped the neighboring elderly with their yards, as well as reaching out to whoever and wherever the Lord leads them. They love to promote and host cookouts, bonfires, birthday parties. Their true joy though comes from their bi-weekly Life Group where fellowship and communion of the Word is shared with those they love. The Lord has gifted them with the gift of hospitality and discernment for others. Always here to serve they have a natural fit in the Ministry Operations of the church, overseeing the greeters, ushers, parking lot and hospitality of the LWC weekly Sunday services. Jeff and Patty have three grown beautiful children, Kristy (&Jim Sobecki), Joe (& Cassy Burk) and Nicole (& Rusty Baldwin) and 2 grandsons Clay and Maddox.

Welcome to LifeGroups! LifeGroups are how we are connected to the life of the church. Small groups of 5-15 people of all ages meet together during the week at different local places in Michiana, like homes, beaches, parks, restaurants, and community centers, to discuss the Sunday sermon and our church-wide Bible reading plan! As members of one another (Romans 12:5) in Christ's Body, we care for one another in our life groups by doing life together! We celebrate such things like birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, and new jobs and, we also walk with one another through life's hard times, comforting one another, making meals, praying together and communicating through cards, phone calls, and emails. Kidz Church 9:30 am Central - 10:30 am Eastern, Sundays for children four to twelve years old and runs simultaneously with the worship service in the sanctuary. The Bible comes alive in Kids Church with real life applications, using the "High Point" curriculum from Gospel Publishing House. At the heart of all of our instruction is the biblical truth "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." We seek to partner with the Lord as He builds His Church, making disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19) The Lords Great Commission to us as His Church involves fulfilling our vision and mission to cross cultures and build bridges that connect the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. Now, more than ever before, the world is a smaller place through different technologies: Facebook, Skype, Email, and cell phones allow people to talk to one another instantly. What used to take weeks or months, where people would board a ship to a foreign land in order to serve on the mission field, is now possible in hours or days due to air travel. While at one time there was limited ability to engage other cultures with the Gospel, people from the nations of the world have an established presence here in the United States. Immigrants to the United States live down the street from us and yet very few of us seek to establish friendly relationships with those who are now our neighbors. Therefore, it is the desire of Living Way Church to find ways, using all of the tools and resources available to us today, to take the Gospel across cultural lines by whatever means are possible. It is our hope that you partner with us as we reach out that others may come into the Kingdom of God. January, 2012• Pray that the passion of Jesus that He has for all people and demonstrated by dwelling among us in the flesh, dying on the cross, being raised in the power of God, ascending to the right hand of God, and pouring out the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost would be poured out on Living Way Church • Pray for the formation of an effective, Spirit-filled and led ‘Mission Advisory Panel’ (MAP) Meet quarterly? Advise on different aspects of missions-prayer, financials (fundraising and budget) church mobilization, communications, promotion• Thanks for the establishment of current mission trips, such as Nicaragua; prayer for the strategic development and launch of future trips to more nations-please pray for these connections: Russia, Nigeria, Philippines, and Brazil• Pray for our networking and connections, both current and yet to form, with missions agencies and organizations, including Foursquare Missions International (FMI), as well as: pray for Korbi Forker and Courtney Dixon, who are serving and learning this year (May, 2012 graduation) in Costa Rica with Score International in what is known as a ‘GAP Year’; this program involves total immersion in the language and culture of Costa Rica• Pray for upcoming training: Short-Term Missions Leader Training, April 21st at Camp Hickory and a possible ‘Cross-Cultural Encounter’ (a three day training and retreat in cross-cultural evangelism) by Syd and Liz Doyle• Pray for effective Cross-Cultural Evangelism to be part of our church DNA, including an effective, strategic connection with Syd and Liz Doyle• Pray for the following missionaries for the Nicaragua trip, July 2012: Rachel Prietto, Brittany Prietto, Christian Campbell, Jasmine Luther, Shannon Fitts, Courtney Fitts, and Callie Campbell. Give thanks for release of financial provision for the trip; pray for the missionaries’ spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health, protection, and growth. Pray that each one would experience an increase in the filling of the Holy Spirit and baptism of the Holy Spirit if they have not yet experienced it. Pray against all hindrances toward an effective mission, including weapons of attitude, backbiting, unclean speech, poverty, sickness, unbelief, and discouragement. Pray that even now this mission team would be one in the Spirit and minister to each other and that hearts would be prepared and opened to the Lord even now as the team moves toward Nicaragua. Pray that each one would have a vision for ministry in Nicaragua and that each one would have the heart and passion of the Lord for the people of Nicaragua. Pray for the best flight at the best price. Pray blessings on the people of Hotel Raizon’, that they would experience an increase of godly influence in Nicaragua and beyond, and that they would experience an increase in material wealth that they would use for the Kingdom of God, but also, that each one would get to come into the Kingdom and be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit if they aren’t already. Pray that the missionaries have noticeable favor with the people of Nicaragua in the streets, in the markets, and in ministry. Pray for all of the churches and church members who are making up this ministry team this summer. Pray blessings on Pastor Jeff Lamont and an increase of wisdom and favor as he oversees the trip and that he would experience a fresh season of ministry as he serves this year. Pray that the entire team would function as one in the Spirit and that strongholds would be torn down in the country in Jesus’ Name.• Pray for an effective, Spirit-led third Nicaragua Go-Team meeting on Sunday, January 15th, after church• Pray blessing on the team from Youth With a Mission (YWAM) as they come to us with a message in January. Pray that they would bring exactly the right message for our church-a ‘right now’ word and that they would experience no hindrances in their coming to us, including: weather, vehicles, and finances. Pray blessing on the host homes, both confirmed and those thinking about hosting.

Kidz Church 9:30 am Central -10:30 am Eastern, Sundays for children four to twelve years old and runs simultaneously with the worship service in the sanctuary. The Bible comes alive in Kids Church with real life applications, using the "High Point" curriculum from Gospel Publishing House. OPERATION SOLID LIVES

OPERATION: Solid Lives is an intense discipleship program developed by Pastor Jerry Dirmann of The Rock Church, in Anaheim, California. The goal (and success) of these classes is to expose each persons heart to a feast of the Word of God for up to seven consecutive weeks, while fasting from many other things. The inevitable result is an awakened sense of authority, as well as a deeper understanding of Gods call on each individual. The five levels are each intense in their own right, but each course builds upon the next, bringing stronger disciplines of Scripture memorization, daily Bible reading, prayer, and ministry involvement. To date, dozens of people at LWC have become OSL graduates, and their testimonies are amazing!

OSL Courses take place at LWC on Sunday afternoons, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Level One will be offered January 29th through February 26th, 2012. The deadline to sign up and pay the $50 class fee is Sunday, January 8th, 2012. Level Two will be offered April 15th through May 27th, 2012, with a Sunday, March 25th deadline to sign up and pay the $50 class fee.
